This resource has been designed to practise reading and writing x8 simple sentences to identify and make corrections to each one. Every sentence has x3 errors to correct. Two answer pages are included in the same format, making every error made clear. Answers could be used by learners to cross-check their sentences, promoting autonomy.

Who’s it for?

This resource is aimed at learners who are learning Phase 5 phonics, this may be learners in Reception, years one and two as well as older students needing additional learning support.

Pages 1 and 2 both include x4 sentences, each in a separate box and illustrated with a simple image on the right. Both pages include the same instructions at the top - making it clear to learners that there are x3 errors in each sentence and what these errors may be.

Answers clearly show each error which is circled in pink and corrected underneath.
