Resource details
This activity has been designed to write straight on. Each page clearly features ten butterflies. Each butterfly’s left wing shows one part of each double (in ‘dots’) in order up to 10. Learners can complete the other half of each double by drawing the same number of ‘dots’ e.g. with a felt tip pen onto the space on the right wing. The total number of dots can then be written on the line underneath to complete the sentence e.g. ‘Double 1 is 2.’
The font used is Sassoon Infant Std - size 20.
There is a clear space at the top of each sheet for learners to write their name and a space to record the number date (top, right).
