What’s it for?

How to use this resource

Full instructions are included within the resource (at very end on page 8), including tips on each page. An adult prints x7 of the pages onto card, cuts out relevant parts, laminates these and cuts out the pieces once laminated. Take care to ensure corners are cut smoothly once laminated at if left these can be really sharp. Blue tac/Velcro dots are added (where exactly included within the resource details).

Once complete the chart can be displayed in a central, accessible spot along with the (included) organisers for the weather symbols and words (eg 'sunny)' and the days of the week, dates, months and years which can also be changed daily at the top of the weather chart.

A 'temperature thermometer' is included as part of this interactive resource, encouraging learners to think about how the weather 'feels', extending their vocabulary. A single clip-style peg is needed for this.
