Description

What’s included?

This download includes x14 A4, pdf sheets (landscape orientation).

What's it for?

This resource is for educators and parents, providing a clear framework to plan the week ahead. These sheets are ideal for organising activities as well as making the weekly schedule clear to younger learners.

Who’s it for?

Designed for learners from early years through to older students, this versatile resource is ideal for both classroom and home use.

How to use this resource?

Print out the sheets month by month or for the year ahead. As the number of weeks in each month varies you will need x4 or x5 sheets depending on the month. February is the only month to typically span x4 weeks.

Write the weekly (number) date at the top right. There is also a space here to record which number week (of the year) this is to help keep sheets/weeks in order.

There is a space at the top, in the centre, to write your own title, e.g. 'Sound/Spelling Focus', 'Word of the day', 'Number of the day', 'Star of the day', 'Homework to do', 'Evening Meals'.

The seventh (blank) box, lower right side, can be used as needed, e.g. for a 'Spelling Focus' sheet, common continued mis spelt words could be added to the blank box to be revisited next week.

Resource details

This set of 'weekly plans' has been designed to last throughout any year. The specific week number can be written on (top, right) to keep weeks ordered, helpful to look back and plan ahead.

The font used throughout is Sassoon Infant Std for clear legibility. There is a space at the top to write a personalised title for each 'Weekly Plan' as well as to record the number date (right side) to make this clear.

Each sheet is designed with eight boxes, with seven days of the week and a flexible eighth box for additional notes, goals, or reminders.

Colour themed:

Each month is a different colour theme, designed to reflect the season. The five weekdays are presented in a uniform shade, followed by a contrasting colour for the two weekend days to clearly distinguish between downtime. The ‘blank/notes’ section is highlighted in a third tone, making it easy to spot at a glance.

Two plain versions are also included in black/greys, ideal for photocopying.

The following resource has been designed to be used with the 'Weekly Planner' resource: Images of Annual Celebrations and Special Days to celebrate annual/seasonal events.

Additionally the following resource provides more information and identifies when in the year events are celebrated: Images of Celebrations and Special Days for Weekly Plans (Annual Set)
