This resource has been designed to introduce learners to tallying - how to record tally marks carefully and correctly as well as providing an opportunity to both read and write their own tallies (on page 4). This resource has been created as an introduction to ‘tallying’ prior to working on a data handling activity. Recording accurate tally marks is a key part of data handling and an essential skill to record data correctly.
